The Rice SWCD takes all the hassle out of establishing cover crops. We will come to your farm and apply cover crop seed for you. Our NEW interseeder drills the seed into the soil between the corn rows to provide excellent coverage throughout the field. We supply the seed, equipment, and operator, so there is literally nothing you have to do except tell us which fields you want us to do! We can operate in 30-inch rows of almost any planter row setup. Ideal time to plant cover crops in corn is between the V3 and V7 growth stage or in the fall after harvest.
